For the 2025-26 school year, no rolling backpacks will be allowed inside the building at Rennell. They are a hazard in the hallway and in the classroom. They are too heavy to hang on the back of a chair, so they are on the floor and students are tripping over them. During arrival and dismissal, when all 1270 of our students are in the hallways at the same time, students are tripping over them. The rolling backpacks are heavier than regular backpacks because of the wheels and gear needed to make it rolling. Please plan to have a non-rolling backpack for the 2025-26 school year.
